Emma is an inspiration- the first Nova Scotian, male or female, to make a National team in the sport of Freestyle Skiing (specializing in slopestyle).
Born in Hilden, NS, Emma is a true product of her hometown… humble and hungry. Raised by two plumbers, she has the grit required to put in the hard work and ascend in her chosen sport.
She’s currently ranked 6th overall in Canada and is raising eyebrows. She’s been well known in the Atlantic Canadian ski community, but her notoriety is beginning to break out beyond her sport. Young, savvy, blonde and athletic, she is positioning herself to be the face of not only freestyle skiing, but an icon in women’s sport.
Emma is: Driven, Energetic, Down to earth, and “In it to Win it”.
She’s a carded athlete and is fast tracking her way to the pinnacle of her sport. And as a blossoming athlete, she needs help to get there. Funds raised through this campaign will be used to cover travel expenses for the 2017 season and include Emma's competitive schedule.
Emma would like to thank all those interested in joining her pursuit, and for donating or sharing this campaign page. It's time to show the international stage that Atlantic Canada has a place on the podium!
